Tripadvisor has just unveiled its highly anticipated “Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Destinations” for 2025, spotlighting the 25 must-visit places for this year. This prestigious ranking is based on destinations that received the highest volume of positive traveler reviews over a 12-month period. Only the top 1% of the 8 million locations evaluated worldwide make the cut.

Top 3: London, Bali, and Dubai

London takes the No. 1 spot, celebrated as an eclectic city with many faces—from the alternative vibes of Shoreditch, to the punk spirit of Camden, and the charm of Portobello Road. Every corner offers a new experience, making it a city that feels fresh every day.

Bali ranks second, hailed as a true Indonesian paradise that looks like it was pulled from a postcard. The island enchants visitors with its beaches and breathtaking landscapes.

Dubai comes in third. This modern UAE city is a unique mix of traditional culture and cutting-edge entertainment.

A feast for the senses”: Sicily ranks fourth

Sicily secures the fourth spot, ahead of iconic Paris. Tripadvisor calls the Mediterranean island “a feast for all the senses”, and especially praises its world-renowned food. The platform recommends pairing culinary adventures with visits to Baroque Catania or the majestic temples of Agrigento.

Paris, coming in fifth, is described as the perfect place to enjoy a pain au chocolat at a sidewalk café, take a stroll along the Seine, and admire landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

Rome in the top 10 — but not at the top

Rome lands at sixth place. Tripadvisor reminds travelers that the Eternal City deserves more than a single day to be appreciated in all its timeless beauty.

At No. 7 is Hanoi, Vietnam’s captivating capital, known for preserving its Old Quarter, colonial architecture, and monuments, while embracing modern development.

Marrakech, Morocco ranks eighth, followed by Crete in ninth place. The Greek island is described as “the birthplace of the king of the Olympian gods and of modern European civilization — a true Mediterranean gem.”

Bangkok, Thailand’s energetic capital, rounds out the top 10.
